Chamber Construction and Design

Nyle Continuous Dehydrator chambers are engineered for optimal heat retention and air circulation, ensuring uniform drying and precise control across all models.

Interior & Exterior

The chamber is built with a stainless steel interior for durability, hygiene, and ease of cleaning, while the exterior features painted galvanized steel for a strong, corrosion-resistant finish. The entire chamber is insulated with 4 inches of high-performance insulation, ensuring excellent heat retention and minimizing energy consumption.

Access

Each chamber includes insulated service doors that allow easy access to both the conveyor system and the drying components, simplifying routine maintenance and operation.

Airflow & Circulation

The chambers are equipped with an array of high-powered fans (depending on model size) and intake/exhaust vents to promote consistent airflow. Stainless steel internal baffles guide airflow evenly throughout the chamber, while reversible airflow settings controlled by variable-speed drives maintain stable and uniform drying conditions.

Control

Temperature and humidity are monitored by dual-element sensors connected to a PLC (programmable logic controller). This ensures precise climate control throughout the drying process, resulting in consistent product quality.
Conveyor System

Belt Configuration

The system utilizes high-quality Forbo Clean Drive belts. Depending on the model, the belt width ranges from 6 feet to 12 feet, with multiple layers of belts maximizing the drying area. Each system includes five layers of belts, providing efficient use of space. Adjustable belt speeds, with a base speed of 1 foot per minute, allow flexibility to accommodate a variety of product types and drying times.

Durability & Maintenance

The system’s stainless steel square tubular frame ensures long-lasting durability. Removable UHMW wear strips facilitate easy cleaning, and composite bearings and 12” long take-up tensioners ensure smooth, reliable operation with minimal maintenance.

Motor & Reducer

Powered by a stainless steel Worldwide Electric AC motor, paired with a Sumitomo epoxy-painted gear reducer, the conveyor system delivers consistent and efficient performance.
